Sen. Little voted to make it easier for members of the military to exercise their right to vote.

Likewise, Sen. Little voted to make it easier for members of the military and National Guard to renew drivers’ licenses when overseas on active duty.

Most important, Sen. Little voted that members of Alabama’s National Guard need only be on active duty for three days before their jobs are protected by federal statutes.

Finally, Sen. Little voted to increase the appropriations to the Alabama Department of Veteran Affairs so that veterans residing in any of the three veterans nursing homes located in Alabama could have an additional supplement to make their nursing home stays more affordable.
