Campaign Finance Report Press Release

On January 31st of each year, the Fair Campaign Practices Act calls for all elected officials and Political Action Committees to submit a campaign finance report for the previous calendar year. I am pleased to report that, without soliciting a single campaign contribution for the election year 2010 from any individuals, either by personal request, telephone calls, emails, text messaging or any other means, that I have been able to maintain my campaign finances at a level that exceeds my unannounced opponent by a margin of 5 to 1. My political philosophy dictates that this is a time to govern and not to campaign, but I have full confidence in the support that my constituents will provide me when I start making campaign financial requests.
